How do i turn off the blue light bulb and orange battery with a zig zag through it, off?

I was using my asus republic of gaming computer, when the screen turned off. I plugged it back into the charger (figuring the battery had died) but it would turn on. There is a blue light bulb and an orange battery sign with a zig zag through it located on the front panel of the computer. How do i fix these problems?
